About Toolmath
What this site is
Toolmath is a small, independent research site about business software costs. Every page starts from one number: what the thing costs in year one, for a specific team size, read from the vendor's own pricing page on a printed date.
There is no editorial team, no sponsored tier and no ranking sold to a vendor. There is one researcher doing arithmetic that other comparison sites skip because the arithmetic is not clickable.
Who writes it
[YOUR FULL NAME], writing as Toolmath. Contact details are on the contact page and the legal notice.
Why the prices are dated
Software pricing changes quietly and constantly, and the comparison sites that rank highest are the slowest to update. A dated price is a claim you can check: if the page says 28 October 2026, you can open the vendor's page today and see whether the number still holds. An undated price is a guess wearing a suit.
How it is funded
Two ways. Some outbound links are affiliate links, which pay a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Nothing else is sold: no sponsored posts, no paid placement in a table, no vendor reviewing a page before publication.
If a tool we link to pays nothing, the link is still there. That is the test of whether the affiliate relationship is doing any work on the ranking, and on this site it is not.
What this site will not do
- Publish a price it has not read from the vendor's own page, or from a document the vendor sent.
- Remove a product from a comparison because it lost.
- Give financial, legal or tax advice. Nothing here is advice about your business; it is arithmetic about a subscription.
- Pretend a promotional price is a permanent one.
Corrections
If a number here is wrong, send it to the address on the contact page with the vendor page you are reading. Corrections are published by changing the figure and the date, and errors are not quietly deleted. Full method: how we check a price.
