How we check a price

Standing rules, not a one-time promise

In one line

Every price on this site was read from the vendor's own pricing page on the date printed above the table. If we could not read it ourselves, it is not on the page.

The five rules

1. The vendor's page, not a review site

Review sites copy each other's price tables for years after they are wrong. We open the vendor's pricing page and read the number there.

2. Dated, always

A price without a date is a guess with confidence. Every table carries the day we read it.

3. Seat math shown

"$14 per seat" is not an answer. The answer is what three people pay in year one. We multiply it out in the open so you can change the seat count yourself.

4. Fees are part of the price

Onboarding fees, required add-ons and minimum contact tiers go in the total, not in a footnote nobody reads.

5. A tool we recommend against stays listed

If a product loses a comparison, it keeps its row. Removing the loser is how a comparison turns into an advertisement.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links pay us a commission. That is stated on the page where it applies. It does not change a ranking, a verdict or a price. Where we do not have an affiliate relationship, we link to the vendor anyway.

Corrections

If a number on this site is wrong, it gets fixed and the date changes. Prices move; pretending they do not is the actual error.
